I saw this photograph this earlier today it made me excited and happy. I love the group of women with the flowers, did they just raided a garden ? This picture has the sweep of a historical painting. David told me he took this image three times, but he knew this was the one.
I agree John -- this does make me smile. . .seems it would never have been possible to stage such a scene, with all those separate but joined groupings. . .so glad you posted this/ also reminds me of one of Rbt Frank's crowd shots though his was of pedestrians. . .
